RSA Training Programme travels to Sabah |

The Road Safety Audit (RSA) Training Programme was held for the first time in Sabah. Orgazised in collaboration with Jabatan Kerja Raya, Sabah, Institution of Engineers (Sabah Branch) and Association of Consulting Engineers, the 5-day programme which included a stringent competency Test was held in Kota Kinabalu from 20 June 2005. A total of 37 participants registered for the programme.

The Director General, Public Works Department, Malaysia and REAM Deputy President Y.Bhg Dato' Prof. Ir. Dr. Wahid bin Omar led a 16-member delegation to the 2005 Australasia Road Safety Research Policing Conference in Wellington, New Zealand from 14 to 16 November 2005.

The World Road Association (PIARC) in conjunction with the hosting of the 23rd World Road Congress in Paris, France from 17-21 September 2007 is inviting entries for the PIARC Prizes 2007. The objective of the competitiopn is to encourage innovation, recognize professional expertise, highlight topics of particular concern, promote developing country interest, and support long-term thinking of the future of transportation system. |
